The very backbone of Oceanfest is the dozen or so competitive sports that culminate over the 3 day event. Incorporating disciplines and activities such as Skateboarding, Surfing, Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Surf Life Saving, Ironman & Diamond Lady events, the Nipper Challenge and Beach Aquathon. 3 days with over 20 bands. Full 2012 line-up yet to be confirmed. Full listings will appear as artists and bands are contracted to play

Apply to Play

Our goal is to select and assemble the best possible line-up, relevant to our audience. Any metal is a no-no, it is just the nature of the event, you know the surf kinda thing! So no thrash, speed, death please and no techno, rave, dance party stuff for that matter either. Sorry to be specific but we don’t want to waste your time.Want to play?

Accommodation

Please note that camping is NOT included or offered as part of the ticket price. Where you stay outside of the festival hours of operation is your responsibility. During the festival, availability is at a premium, we suggest you book as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment. We do not condone free, unsupervised or unauthorised camping.
