Important Information - Please Read

The recent tragic events in Manchester and London have highlighted the need for everyone to ‘protect & prevent’ by being more vigilant. In order to minimise the impact of the inevitable increase in security measures we have deployed this year, we respectfully request you keep personal items to a minimum and do not try and bring large bags or picnic hampers as they will be declined. The more you try and bring into the event, the longer searches will take and delay entry for everyone, whilst all we really want to do is get in and party!

Extra bags searches

All ticket holders will be subject to extra searches of their bags and person at this year’s event. As a result of these extra searches queues will be slower and festival goers are asked to be patient and cooperate with any security requests and all searches.

Pack light

Less you bring better for all. Each bag being brought into the arena will be searched, the more bags the longer it takes - be kind to your fellow festival goers and only bring bags if essential.

Tag your Bag

Put a label on the outside of you bags with you name on it to help us make your stay with us as much fun as possible with minimal interruptions.

Re-Entry Policy

Please remember when the beach events are over, then from 6pm onwards the NO RE-ENTRY policy applies - if you are entering the arena for the first time you will not be affected. This is even more important with current circumstances and we would ask you not to put unfair pressure on the Security and Police - when you know the rules in advance! Once you are on the inside you will note a number of positive changes within the arena and to the weekends programme with new additions and activities, do not worry the good things are still here. We are so stoked with the exceptional calibre of the music and sporting talent on show across all the stages and entertainment zones and hope you get to see everyone you want to over the weekend.

Getting to Oceanfest in Croyde

By Foot

When walking to and from the festival site, please do so QUIETLY and with due respect to the local inhabitants. Access down Moor Lane is especially narrow and it is advised that you walk in single file and take great care of vehicles. PLEASE do not consider short cuts back to your campsites or trespassing through private property.

By Car

North and South off the M5 Motorway at Junction-27 Follow the North Devon Link Road A361 (be careful, things can get a bit manic just when you think you're nearly there!) Head for Barnstaple >; A361 For Croyde travel around Barnstaple using the "Downstream Bridge" and keep on the A361 taking the left at the traffic lights in Braunton and proceed on the B3226 to Croyde via Saunton. Parking is available and operated by private companies, get there early to avoid disappointment and hassle. For detailed 'turn by turn' directions to the Arena in Croyde enter EX33 1NZ as your destination in the AA route finder or on your GPS. Be careful to avoid the village of Georgeham in any options, it is a small village and doesn't cope well under excessive traffic.
