#OCEANFEST20 / COVID-19 TICKET BUYER INFO

As you will have seen in our latest newsletter and social media posts, after 21 consecutive years, it is with very heavy hearts that we have to announce #Oceanfest20 is to be postponed until 18th-20th June 2021.

Oceanfest is produced by a very small team of just three people, who work closely with the local authorities and emergency services to ensure the safety of you, our faithful fans, at the festival each year and sadly it would be unsafe for the event to take place this June due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the current government advice under constant review, we feel that we cannot in all good faith commit to an alternative date later this year.

Although these circumstances are beyond our control, we still would like to send our sincere apologies to everyone who was looking forward to joining us for #Oceanfest20 this summer.

We are working hard to ensure Oceanfest gets through the current situation but we will need your help too. A large majority of you purchased your tickets before any of the music announcements in late February because you simply love what we do. We love you for showing the faith in us and we would again urge you wherever possible to keep the faith and roll your ticket over to next year’s event. (Please note the line up will change for next year’s event).

If you have purchased a ticket to this year’s event, your ticket will automatically be transferred to 2021 with no action needed to be taken on your part. The more support of this nature we receive the better placed we will be to make next year the memorable event we all want to share.

We completely understand that not all of you will be in a position to roll your tickets over to next year. As such we will be offering a one off limited window for refunds, for two weeks until Monday 4th May 2020, for those who are unable to commit to being with us in Croyde for #Oceanfest21

To request a refund you will simply need to submit the ticket buyer’s name, email address and order ID to the special COVID-19 refund form below. To clarify, only full orders can be refunded, we cannot amend tickets at any point in this process and refunds are made back to the purchaser only. Provision will be made when checking in at #Oceanfest21 for all those needing to pay for an upgrade from an under 18 ticket to an adult one (the fee will simply be the difference between the two tickets when originally purchased).

Only once that period has elapsed, a full list of all those orders to be refunded will be sent to Eventbrite to process and return the payments made (including booking fees etc). Please note that all refunds will be processed in bulk by Eventbrite and we will be unable to process individual refund or late requests. We have been told that the funds should be back in your account in 7 to 10 days or less after the refund windows closes.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We are genuinely gutted we will not be sharing our traditional midsummer weekend in sunny Croyde Bay. Our team will now strive to make next year the truly brilliant production we all deserve and we are already looking forward to seeing you at #Oceanfest21 on 18th-20th June 2021.
