This year, as in 2018, the Oceanfest hosts a stop on the England Beach Soccer National League, which is invite only.

The aim of this next step up the ladder is to provide a top level national competition for the UK’s elite with the winners from both the men’s and women’s championships representing England in the annual European Championships. The 2018 men’s Champions were Arsenal and women’s Champions were Portsmouth.

England have a vast amount Internationally renowned talent with Aaron Clarke leading the charge for the men’s voted as one of the best players in world in 2018, along with Molly Clark (no relation) who was voted as one of the women’s best players too. Today both are beach soccer ambassadors for the sport with beach soccer world wide and FIFA and both will be in attendance at Oceanfest in 2019 supporting the premier league all-star progrmme with local club Exeter City FC during the schools activity days at Oceanfest. Aaron Clark will be playing on Sunday during round 2 of the national league at Croyde bay in conjunction with the Oceanfest beach sports programme.
